Urea is an organic compound, which in its solid form is colourless, odorless, neither acidic nor basic, highly soluble in water, and relatively non-toxic. In application urea is widely used in fertilizers and animal feed as a convenient source of nitrogen nutrients and is also an important feedstock for the chemical industry.
MAP is a crystalline powder formed by the mixing of ammonia and phosphoric acid concentrates. Its main use is an ingredient in fertilizers mixtures (Bulk Blended) as a high source of elemental nitrogen.
DAP is one of a series of water-soluble ammonium phosphate salts which can be produced when ammonia reacts with phosphoric acid. Its main use is as a fertilizer and when applied as plant food, it temporarily increases the soils pH.
Chemically known as Calcium Oxide, this is a white, caustic, crystalline product which is accomplished by heating Lime containing CaCO3 at a temperature of 825 ÂșC, known as Calcination, this process liberates a molecule of Carbon Dioxide leaving CaO. Lime has multiple uses, some of which are for use with mortar and plaster, medicinal purposes, insecticides, plant and animal food, laboratory reagent for gas absorption, precipitation, dehydration etc and also as a reagent in the manufacture of paper, high grade metals and cement.
Produced relevant to a specific crop and soil pH, this product is made up of Nitrogen, Phosphorus & Potassium (NPK), which are the main nutrients a plant needs to live and grow. It is compounded in either a Bulk Blend or Chemical Blend with various ratios to be used as a fertilizer throughout the world.
Phosphoric acid is made by treating calcium phosphate rock with sulphuric acid, followed by filtration of the resultant liquid to remove calcium sulphate. It has a number of applications such as Fertilizer, Processed food use, Rust Removal products, cleaning products, electrolytes, cosmetic and skin care products etc.
